Don't Have an Attack of the Dumb!
This is a public website, and we recommend you not submit any identifying information, like names of people, companies, or locations. Many bosses have their own boss, so don't assume they don't read BossFlakes too. I can't promise to save you from your own stupidity. So don't let this happen to you.
Don't Post Angry
You can however post incredulous, unbelieving, uncomprehending, frustrated, or while in shock. Your BossFlakes tale should be humorous and/or entertaining. Our goal is to make readers smile, laugh, cry in shame, beat their head against the wall, or stare at the screen saying "Seriously?!" Our goal is not to spread anger. If you need to share an angry rant, I suggest That's My Boss or Epic Boss FAIL.
Don't Hate Us
We read each and every tale we receive, but not every tale makes it onto the site. Them's just the facts. If you don't see what you feel is a valid submissions after a few weeks, please feel free to resubmit your tale. It’s rare, but sometimes "the check" really does get lost in the mail.
Do Be Yourself
Tell us your tale, not someone else's. We're not saying to avoid poetic license, we certainly won't, but to use a tale taken from another site, TV show, movie, periodical, or even the rumor mill, could lead to serious legal trouble for you and more importantly us. Remember, the road to copyright hell is paved with good intentions.
